About JLW

The inspiration for JLW Travel came unexpectedly during a flight delay in Puerto Natales, deep in the heart of Patagonia. With no Wi-Fi and only a pen and paper in hand, I started sketching out ideas and within an hour, JLW Travel was born.

With my initials as the foundation, I wanted a name that truly reflected who I am as a travel consultant and what inspires me most about exploring the world. Having fallen in love with Patagonia and the polar landscapes of Antarctica, as well as Africa, Europe, Asia, North America and of course, Australia “J”ourney “L”andscapes “W”orldwide – the perfect fit! It was during that same adventure that I realised I had officially touched all seven continents twice, including Antarctica, twice in one trip! Travel has always been my greatest passion in life and wanted to share it with everyone so they may experience the world in a greater depth. As there is something truly magical about discovering new places, meeting people from all walks of life, and experiencing the beauty of our planet. I believe travel has the power to transform lives, broaden perspectives, and create memories that last a lifetime. One of my most cherished experiences was hiking to Machu Picchu, a journey that offered not just breathtaking scenery, but a deep connection with local culture and history. Not to mention the unforgettable expedition to Antarctica, a destination that continues to inspire me every day.
