Settle into The Ghan’s gentle rhythm as you travel through the outback and immerse yourself in the Northern Territory’s breathtaking natural wonders.

From exploring the West MacDonnell Ranges to taking your place beside spiritual Uluru and Kata Tjuta, you’ll understand why people travel great distances to see the Territory’s remarkable landscapes and icons. Board The Ghan in Darwin, headed for Alice Springs. Here, you will be met by the passionate Outback Spirit crew, your guides as you take in all the Red Centre has to offer over the next eight days. Travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges, visiting Standley Chasm and Ormiston Gorge, take a guided scenic walk at Kings Canyon and admire the internationally acclaimed ‘Field of Light’ display at Uluru as it illuminates the desert night. Re-join The Ghan Expedition and head to the weird and wonderful opal mining town of Coober Pedy before reaching your final stop in Adelaide.
